Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapist to be part of our expanding clinical team. The role involves conducting thorough patient assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering professional therapeutic interventions. Patients served will range from those with acute injuries and neurological disorders to chronic musculoskeletal issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial examinations considering medical history, biomechanics, strength evaluations, posture, range of motion, and neurological functions.
• Determine precise physical therapy diagnoses and set measurable goals for short and long-term recovery.
• Create tailored treatment regimens utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and specialized rehabilitation techniques.
• Implement hands-on treatments including joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, and progressive exercise plans.
• Administer neurological rehabilitation protocols as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on care post-treatment, home exercise routines, injury prevention, and lifestyle changes.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, reevaluate regularly, and adapt treatments accordingly.
• Ensure documentation and patient records are comprehensive, current, and confidential.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) mandatory; Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) specializing in Neurology, Orthopedics, or Sports Medicine preferred.
• Valid registration with relevant state or national physiotherapy councils or associations.
• Expertise in manual therapy and designing therapeutic exercise programs including joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques.
• Clinical knowledge in neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic recovery, and pain management.
• Familiarity with electrotherapy devices such as IFT, TENS, Ultrasound, and Traction as well as exercise therapy equipment.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
• Analytical skills to adjust treatment based on individual recovery progress.
• High empathy, professionalism, and ethical standards during patient care.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with clinical team members and administrative staff.
