Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support pharmaceutical operations in Toronto. This position is suited to a detail-focused professional who enjoys turning business needs into practical solutions and contributing to improvements in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.
What you will do
- Collect, review, and record requirements from teams and stakeholders across the business.
- Convert business objectives into clear functional specifications and user stories.
- Work closely with partners in IT, QA, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Contribute to system rollouts and initiatives aimed at improving processes.
- Carry out gap assessments and propose options that improve operational performance.
- Support validation-related documentation and help maintain compliance with GxP, FDA, and EMA expectations.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s qualification in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Prior hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
- Solid knowledge of GxP, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical manufacturing workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, LIMS, or comparable digital platforms used in life sciences.
- Strong ability to communicate, document clearly, and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Comfortable working both independently and with others in a high-paced environment.
