Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified and empathetic Periodontist to become part of our dental healthcare team in Sharjah, UAE. This specialist will focus on diagnosing and managing conditions that affect gums and supporting tooth structures, delivering both surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatments tailored to individual patient needs. Collaboration with the broader dental team is essential to provide holistic care fostering sustained oral health.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive periodontal exams to identify gum diseases.
• Create and execute customized treatment strategies.
• Carry out periodontal surgeries and therapies such as scaling, root planing, bone grafts, and implant placement.
• Educate patients on maintaining oral hygiene and preventive practices.
• Work in coordination with dentists, hygienists, and support personnel to manage patient care efficiently.
• Maintain detailed patient records adhering to healthcare compliance.
• Keep updated on advancements in periodontology through continual education.

Essential Requirements

• Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from a recognized institution.
• Completed accredited Periodontics residency program.
• Valid dental license along with board certification in Periodontics.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in periodontal assessment and treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of manual dexterity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
