About the Role
The Internal Security Department (ISD) has a long-standing history spanning over 75 years in safeguarding Singapore's internal security against various threats including foreign subversive activities, espionage, racial and religious extremism, and terrorism. This role offers a meaningful career opportunity to contribute towards maintaining Singapore's safety, security, and sovereignty.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay informed about performance management practices within the Public Service and collaborate with the team to design and align relevant policies and strategies.
- Assist in creating succession planning frameworks that ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent within the organisation.
- Support the management of performance appraisal, ranking, and promotion processes throughout the entire cycle.
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing employee confirmations, role emplacements, and transfers of service.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a degree in any field or demonstrates equivalent qualifications.
- Exhibits strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Communicates effectively in both written and verbal forms.
- Builds positive relationships through excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Works well collaboratively as part of a team.
