About the Organisation
BlackBull Markets is a rapidly expanding multi-asset trading company with locations in New Zealand, Cyprus, Dubai, and Mexico. The leadership is founder-led and promotes a culture of ownership and ambition.
Role Overview
This newly established position is created to support BlackBull's growth by managing daily people functions within the company. It is a hands-on role that integrates HR administration, office management, and executive assistance for the CEO and COO. Working closely with leadership and a fractional Head of People, this role is central to managing people and workplace activities across a global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage everyday HR administration tasks, including HRIS system (Rippling) oversight, employee records, contracts, onboarding/offboarding, and leave management.
- Organize recruitment for operational and support positions; handle job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and administering offers. Coordination with external recruiters as necessary.
- Serve as the primary contact for manager and employee inquiries, escalating sensitive or complex issues to the Head of People.
- Oversee daily operations of the Auckland office: manage reception, visitor coordination, vendor and supplier relations, and health and safety compliance.
- Support the CEO and COO with executive tasks such as diary and travel management, correspondence preparation, and meeting facilitation.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly at all times.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years of experience combining HR administration, office management, or executive assistance duties.
- Proven ability to support C-suite executives, including managing diaries and complex travel plans.
- Familiarity with New Zealand employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently with confidence to escalate issues appropriately.
- Adaptable and resourceful, able to function efficiently within a fast-moving international team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must hold permanent work rights in New Zealand.
Why This Role?
This is a unique chance to establish and lead the operational foundation of a truly global and fast-growing company. Rather than entering a fixed structure, you will influence how HR, office management, and executive support evolve as the business scales across multiple countries.
You will have direct engagement with senior leadership, enjoy significant autonomy, and experience diverse responsibilities.
