Company Overview

Role Summary
Reporting to the General Manager and partnering with Department Heads, the People & Culture Manager will oversee the full spectrum of people functions, ensuring staff feel engaged, supported, and motivated to provide excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning processes.
- Offer employment relations guidance and HR advice to management.
- Manage performance, employee development, and engagement programs.
- Support ongoing learning and development initiatives across the hotels.
- Ensure adherence to New Zealand employment laws and HR best practices.
- Handle HR administration, reporting, and workforce planning duties.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with Accor's values.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources or People & Culture management roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and human resources practices.
- Proven abilities in employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Capability to establish trustful relationships across all organizational levels.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Previous experience in the hotel industry is strongly preferred.
