About the Role
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join a prominent infrastructure delivery organization within a complex joint venture setting, based in Sydney Olympic Park, NSW. This permanent full-time position is onsite with an option for work-from-home on Fridays. The role involves strategic leadership focusing on cultivating organizational culture, aligning the workforce, enhancing leadership effectiveness, building organizational capability, and driving transformational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the people and culture strategy that supports program delivery success.
- Serve as the main liaison between the joint venture and parent organizations regarding all people-related matters.
- Create clear governance and accountability frameworks for people management.
- Provide insights into workforce planning, capability development, and manage organizational risks.
- Design and embed a high-performance culture inspired by Lencioni's Five Behaviours framework.
- Support change and transformation initiatives with a strong emphasis on people-focused strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance leadership capabilities and ensure team cohesion.
- Oversee performance management, development planning, and consistent people practices throughout the organization.
- Influence strategic decision-making through the lens of people and culture.
- Champion consistency, fairness, and engagement across the workforce.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior roles within People & Culture or organizational leadership.
- Proven background working in large, complex, or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Successful track record of operating across joint venture or multi-organization structures.
- Expertise in organizational culture development, change management, and leadership training.
- Advanced skills in stakeholder engagement and influence.
- High emotional intelligence paired with strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and balance competing priorities in dynamic settings.
- Experience partnering with executive and senior leadership teams.
