Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory payroll obligations such as Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, salary packaging including novated leases, and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT).
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to maintain compliance, system updates, and testing processes.
  • Work collaboratively with HR and global Workday experts to maintain and test integrations between Workday and payroll platforms.
  • Deliver accurate payroll data, reports, and insights to Finance and HR to support reconciliations, ledger alignment, and both internal and external audits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing prompt and solution-oriented support to employees and managers.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes, enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and the overall employee experience.
  • Contribute to payroll projects and continuous improvement efforts as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP; familiarity with Workday systems is beneficial.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, to ensure data integrity and support reporting functions.
  • Proactive problem solver with excellent organizational capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Collaborative team player who is committed to fostering a positive employee experience and building strong interdepartmental relationships.
  • Possesses ownership mentality, curiosity, and a focus on continuous process improvement.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work onsite at our East Malvern primary office within a collaborative hybrid team environment.
  • Competitive salary package with comprehensive learning and development initiatives.
  • Wellbeing programs and generous leave policies including 16 weeks parental leave for primary carers.
  • Employee discounts on products and a vibrant company culture.
