Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Executive position in Bhubaneswar. The role is responsible for complete payroll administration, from maintaining employee data to calculating pay, overtime, incentives, and mandatory deductions. You will ensure wages are processed on time, reimbursements are managed correctly, and attendance, leave, and shift information is verified in coordination with HR and Finance. The position also covers statutory compliance for PF, ESI, tax deductions, and other legal obligations, along with payroll reporting, employee query resolution, audit support, and ongoing process improvement.

The role requires accurate and timely payroll execution, coordination with internal teams, and careful handling of confidential employee information.

Requirements

Applicants should have strong payroll calculation abilities, working knowledge of statutory deductions and compliance, and familiarity with payroll systems and Excel. Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and clear communication are essential. Experience in payroll or accounts, especially within construction or infrastructure environments, is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in payroll processing and salary computation, including overtime, incentives, and deductions.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, professional tax, and income tax rules.
• Comfort using payroll software or ERP platforms, plus MS Excel for data handling and reporting.
• Strong focus on accuracy, detail, and confidentiality when managing employee records.
• Good coordination and communication skills for working with HR, Finance, and project teams.
• Previous exposure to payroll or accounting work, preferably in construction or infrastructure, is helpful.
• A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
• Must be able to work on-site in Bhubaneswar and handle deadlines in a fast-moving project setting.
