About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to oversee the complete employment lifecycle for employees in South Korea. This role involves managing payroll efficiently and compliantly, handling day-to-day queries, coordinating with both internal teams and external partners, generating sales invoices, and ensuring timely and accurate wage payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for Safeguard Global workers in South Korea after onboarding.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of company payroll policies and legal requirements for payroll in South Korea.
  • Identify and correct discrepancies in payroll reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Review and approve payroll data in alignment with client information.
  • Regularly maintain key performance indicators, internal reports, payroll schedules, and master inputs.
  • Ensure punctual and precise payroll payments to employees.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and convey country-specific payroll requirements throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Monitor and update employee records prior to payroll execution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for worker queries regarding payroll.
  • Handle payroll funding and billing by completing charging sheets and producing sales invoices.
  • Maintain comprehensive worker documentation in compliance with local recordkeeping standards.
