Job Overview
Jay Jay Mills (India) Private Limited is seeking a Pattern Technician for their garment division, located in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. The position offers a salary commensurate with experience and values dedicated candidates. Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in the garment industry and hold a diploma or degree in Fashion Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Create precise patterns for knitted garments utilizing CAD software such as Lectra, Gerber, or Optitex.
- Verify garment fit, balance, and construction to satisfy buyer specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with sampling, merchandising, and production teams to facilitate seamless garment development.
- Implement pattern adjustments following fit feedback and approvals.
- Organize and maintain a pattern library along with detailed documentation for ongoing and future use.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of garment construction principles, fabric shrinkage, and material behavior.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient technical expertise in pattern making and grading processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experienced with manual and CAD-based pattern designing.
- High attention to detail and dedication to quality output.
