Description de l'emploi
Role overview
Montu UK is hiring a Patient Support Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients. In this role, you will provide a calm, informed, and reassuring experience from the very first conversation. You will handle approximately 450 calls per week, with each interaction lasting about five minutes, and support patients with questions, guidance, and practical help.
This position calls for a mix of speed, empathy, and accuracy. Each call may be different, so you’ll need to adapt quickly while making sure every patient feels listened to, supported, and confident throughout their journey.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and make inbound and outbound patient calls at high volume, supporting people through their treatment process.
- Arrange appointments, complete necessary paperwork, and respond to patient questions with care and precision.
- Keep patient records up to date in the management system while maintaining GDPR compliance.
- Work in step with the clinical team to help deliver smooth, continuous patient care.
- Communicate politely, efficiently, and compassionately while upholding Montu UK’s service standards.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a busy call centre or similar fast-paced setting, ideally handling complex enquiries while staying professional.
- Background in customer service or healthcare, with strong empathy, patience, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, including active listening.
- Comfort using different software tools; experience with patient systems or CRM platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, stay organised, manage multiple tasks, and hit performance goals.
Working pattern
Shift timings are 7:30am to 4:30pm or 9:30am to 6:30pm. One Saturday shift is required every 8 weeks.
Benefits
- 25 days of annual leave, increasing to 27 days after one year and 30 days after three years, plus 8 bank holidays.
- Employer pension contributions of up to 5% matched.
- Options that support flexibility and wellbeing, including working from home, a cycle-to-work scheme, private healthcare, and more.
- Opportunities to collaborate across teams, represent Montu at events, and build your skills with ongoing support.
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
