About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Patient Coordinator to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The role involves managing the complete operational process of patient transfer and medical assistance within the Aviation and Healthcare sectors, specifically medical transport. This is a full-time position requiring candidates to have their own visa or to be freelance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end coordination of patient transfer and medical support cases from referral through to completion.
- Ensure timely communication and coordination with hospitals, healthcare teams, transport providers, and other relevant parties.
- Track case progress and proactively address operational risks and escalations.
- Distribute cases and allocate resources according to operational priorities and team capacity.
- Verify all operational documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to execution of each case.
- Monitor daily operations and provide regular updates to stakeholders promptly.
- Design and implement operational procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality of service delivery.
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and analyze KPIs for management review.
- Assist in business continuity planning and emergency management activities.
- Establish and maintain professional relations with government bodies, healthcare providers, airlines, and strategic partners.
- Conduct team meetings, provide coaching, and perform performance evaluations.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in patient coordination, medical assistance, healthcare operations, hospital administration, or medical tourism.
- Preference for candidates with experience in medical transport coordination, patient travel assistance, or similar patient services.
- Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced 24/7 operational setting.
- Good understanding of healthcare regulations and medical transport protocols.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
