About the Role
This role aims to enhance the overall quality of patient care by proficiently handling every task related to patient administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage patient appointment scheduling and registration processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Administer the medical insurance procedures and associated tasks effectively.
- Oversee billing activities and conduct cash reconciliation accurately.
- Consistently deliver high-quality patient service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Essential: Completion of secondary education (Grade 12).
- Desirable: A tertiary diploma or bachelor's degree, ideally in medical science or finance/accounting fields.
- Required Experience: 2 to 3 years in customer service roles, preferably within healthcare.
- Preferred Experience: Background in contact centers or healthcare environments.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Experience with hospital information systems.
- Understanding of company policies and emergency codes.
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and procedures.
- Basic medical terminology and procedural understanding.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Competence in managing patient scheduling and registration processes.
