Role Overview
This part-time Videographer and Editor position, based remotely with expected availability for projects in Brooklyn, NY, centers on creating compelling, high-quality video materials to enhance Attack Capital's brand image and investor communication efforts. Though classified part-time, the workload aligns with full-time expectations, featuring flexible working hours adaptable to project demands.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of video production including pre-production planning, filming, and post-production.
- Operate video cameras adeptly, adjusting settings according to varied filming environments.
- Set up professional lighting for a range of shoots, such as interviews and product or environmental videos.
- Create video content tailored for social media, websites, and investor-focused communications.
- Edit footage efficiently using editing software, incorporating graphics, basic motion effects, and audio enhancement.
- Deliver polished final video content optimized for digital platforms on a timely basis.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to visually communicate investment concepts while adhering to brand standards and timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in video production workflow from planning through post-production.
- Strong camera handling and technical skills, with knowledge of settings suitable for multiple filming contexts.
- Experience with lighting setups suitable for interviews and diverse video formats.
- Proficient in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software, alongside basic audio mixing capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage several projects autonomously and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills including attention to framing, pacing, and maintaining brand coherence.
- Strong communication skills with an aptitude for working alongside non-technical team members.
- Familiarity with producing content aimed at finance, startup, or tech-related audiences is advantageous.
- Possession of professional or prosumer camera and lighting equipment is preferred.
