Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and engage casino guests, ensuring outstanding service aligned with departmental and Marina Bay Sands standards.
- Communicate professionally in English with customers approaching the gaming tables.
- Deal assigned casino games in accordance with company rules and procedures; assist the Pit Supervisor in monitoring play and game progress.
- Stay informed about ongoing game rule updates and adjustments.
- Handle card shuffling, checking, and other card-related tasks proficiently.
- Maintain game integrity by observing activities carefully and reporting any suspicious behaviors.
- Verify and sign necessary documentation as required.
- Exhibit excellent chip handling, including accurate payouts and float management.
- Adhere to all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Terrorism Financing regulations.
- Uphold high ethical standards and report any breaches promptly.
- Implement Responsible Gaming policies proactively to ensure player safety.
- Declare any conflicts of interest and comply with company policies regarding these.
- Contribute to workplace safety by following Work Safety and Health protocols and reporting hazards.
- Support Card Room Supervisors and Assistant Card Room Managers with tasks such as delivering shuffled cards and destroying used cards.
- Fulfill attendance and punctuality expectations; follow all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Safeguard confidentiality of player identities and gaming actions.
- Perform station duties at the Patron Verification Systems (PVS) kiosk including entry verification and premium status checks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Preferred minimum education: secondary school.
- No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training provided.
- Basic proficiency in internet use and Microsoft Word or Excel.
- Ability to efficiently respond to customer needs in a dynamic environment.
- Strong mathematical skills for quick and accurate calculation of game results and bet management.
- Commitment to memorizing rules and procedures with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer relation abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnight, and public holidays.
