About the Opportunity
Join the welcoming team at Murray Halberg Retirement Village in Lynfield, Auckland, as a part-time Barista. This role offers weekend shifts from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, with an additional hourly weekend allowance included.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consistently high-quality coffee and beverages for residents, their visitors, and relatives in a café setting.
- Ensure a clean and organized café environment that promotes comfort and hospitality.
- Deliver excellent food and beverage service, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere within the retirement village.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth daily operations.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced in coffee-making within busy café environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities who can multitask between coffee preparation, serving, and food service.
- Displays empathy coupled with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining reliability.
- Must have New Zealand work rights due to immigration policies.
