About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Optometrist to perform detailed eye examinations, diagnose vision impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide outstanding eye care services. The candidate must possess strong communication abilities and a dedication to superior patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses based on patient needs.
• Identify common eye diseases and vision disorders.
• Advise patients on suitable treatments or refer them to ophthalmologists when necessary.
• Educate patients regarding eye care, correction methods, and preventive measures.
• Maintain precise medical records and examination documentation.
• Operate and oversee the maintenance of optometric instruments.
• Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, safe, and professional.
• Provide exceptional patient service adhering to ethical medical standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Optometry (B.Optom / D.Optom or an equivalent qualification).
• Valid professional certification or registration as mandated by relevant authorities.
• Open to both fresh graduates and experienced practitioners.
• Comprehensive understanding of eye examination techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosis and record-keeping.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Professional demeanor with a compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

Terms and Conditions

• Employment is full-time and based onsite.
• Salary range between 15000 and 20000 INR per month, depending on company standards and candidate experience.
