Description de l'emploi
About the Company
JPG Sports runs Singapore’s leading outdoor pickleball facilities from Jurong Play Grounds. The business focuses on building an active community through open play sessions, coach-led classes, and a growing mix of corporate workshops and events. As the company expands into new sites across Singapore, it is looking for someone to grow with the team. The role also sits within a larger group, so there may be broader career paths beyond this position.
About the Role
This position is for someone who can take charge of the daily running of the racket-sports courts while also helping shape the programming and community that keeps the courts busy. The work is hands-on and public-facing, blending operations, community engagement, and revenue generation. You will coordinate with coaches, facilitators, corporate clients, and a marketing agency, and you will have ownership over monthly targets with incentives tied to performance.
Court Operations
- Resolve booking-bot issues, including problems related to court access.
- Oversee administrative bookings, such as event reservations and schedule changes.
- Work with the facilities team on upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance coordination.
Usage Growth and Programming
- Respond to corporate workshop enquiries and coordinate court, coach, and facilitator availability.
- Run open-play operations by managing facilitators, handling session bookings, creating Re:Club meet sessions, preparing monthly facilitator pay requests for approval, and personally hosting open-play sessions for at least 6 hours each week.
- Plan class schedules with coaches and help promote class offerings.
- Process payments for coaches and facilitators, and manage open-play refunds when sessions are affected by wet weather.
Marketing and Customer Communication
- Coordinate with the external marketing agency, including briefing them, aligning campaign execution, and ensuring promotions support actual booking growth.
- Handle incoming communication through email, WhatsApp, and social-media direct messages.
Revenue and Growth
- Source sponsorship opportunities and earn 5% of sponsorship revenue that you close.
- Work toward monthly revenue goals and receive a performance incentive in addition to base pay when targets are achieved.
What We’re Looking For
- A person who can balance operations with being a visible part of the community, including running sessions directly rather than only coordinating them.
- Strong organisational and coordination ability to manage coaches, facilitators, corporate customers, and an outside agency.
- Comfort with marketing coordination, such as briefing agencies and reviewing campaign or content outputs.
- A commercially minded approach, with motivation tied to usage growth and sponsorship outcomes.
- Experience in racket sports such as padel, pickleball, or tennis is helpful, though it is not mandatory if you bring the right energy and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team when needed.
Why Join Us
- Flexible schedule, with the freedom to choose your own hours.
- Strong room for growth, including the possibility of moving into a managerial role.
- Backed by a larger corporate group, creating wider career-development opportunities beyond JPG Sports.
- Clear incentive structure where effort and results in revenue and sponsorship are rewarded.
