Role Overview
The Operations Manager II position focuses on leveraging data insights to inform decisions and identify growth opportunities within the Easyship (ES) operational segment. This role demands strong analytical skills, business intelligence expertise, and close collaboration with technical and business teams to manage complex reporting systems and generate actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to develop scalable solutions addressing business challenges.
- Define program objectives, track key metrics, and navigate obstacles to meet targets.
- Identify and lead improvements or automation in data processes applying business insight and technical skills.
- Maintain data quality standards including integrity, design, testing, implementation, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Support the development of seller operations strategies through data analysis.
- Lead strategic projects to systematize and scale organizational procedures.
- Create and manage business review metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Develop data reports and dashboards utilizing SQL, Excel, and additional tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Offer solutions that inform decision-making and reveal new business opportunities.
- Apply knowledge in Generative AI, Large Language Models, data modeling, and basic statistics to address complex business questions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing employees and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or a minimum of 2 years' full-time experience at Amazon.
- Availability to work flexible shifts with two scheduled days off per week, subject to shift patterns and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean management techniques.
