Operations & Business Controller – East Africa

About the Role

Tramigo Africa, a leader in IoT connectivity providing businesses across Africa with fleet, asset, and operational management solutions through advanced technology, is seeking an Operations & Business Controller based in Nairobi, Kenya. This role demands an entrepreneurial spirit, agility in decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving rather than a traditional corporate finance approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance business control mechanisms within Kenya and Rwanda operations.
• Oversee internal accounting functions to reinforce financial discipline.
• Optimize billing, accounts receivable, inventory monitoring, and cash flow transparency.
• Engage with banks, auditors, tax bodies, and other external parties as required.
• Advance the efficiency of Odoo ERP workflows, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
• Provide support for finance and operational tasks across selected Sub-Saharan African markets.
• Serve as a dependable operations partner for management, ensuring thorough follow-up on all matters.

Preferred Experience & Skills

Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, as well as familiarity with accounting, inventory management, receivables, reporting, and cross-border operations, will be advantageous.
