Job Overview
The Operation Director will oversee the comprehensive financial and operational performance across assigned areas according to CEO directives. This role demands strict compliance with contract terms, cost control, inventory management, asset maintenance, and enhancement of departmental efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operational activities remain within the approved budgetary limits.
- Maintain ongoing communication and a strong working relationship with Client representatives.
- Manage procurement processes for all required supplies both on-site and from external suppliers.
- Oversee employee documentation such as security passes, medical certificates, licenses, and vacation records, ensuring renewals are timely to prevent operational disruption.
- Verify accurate completion of employee timesheets and ensure timely submission to Head Office monthly.
- Collaborate with the Training Department for staff development and conduct operational job training personally.
- Perform annual staff evaluations, recommending promotions, salary adjustments, recognitions, disciplinary measures, and terminations as needed.
- Enforce company policies among employees, ensuring comprehensive awareness and adherence.
- Ensure familiarity and compliance with the Saudi Arabian labor law especially concerning disciplinary actions.
- Manage employee leave schedules and submit relief requests to CEO at least two months in advance.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial data regardless of nature.
- Prepare detailed monthly operational reports for the CEO highlighting issues encountered and corrective actions undertaken.
- Report on maintenance activities including planned/reactive tasks, project updates, supplier communication, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Immediately share copies of all Client communications, meeting minutes, and relevant correspondence with the CEO.
- Obtain CEO review on all client proposals; involve Site Engineers as appropriate within the operational discipline.
- Ensure maintenance and control of company and Client assets, with CEO informed of major repair and maintenance activities.
- Maintain highest standards of health, hygiene, and safety; liaise closely with CEO on safety matters.
- Supervise and monitor performance of department heads.
- Comply with all company and Client safety regulations.
- Provide monthly safety performance reports covering the entire operation.
- Coordinate with Client on safety-related issues and conduct regular safety meetings including a safety committee formation.
- Execute additional duties assigned by the CEO within the scope of work.
- Hold full responsibility for implementation and accountability of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Adhere strictly to company guidelines under the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.

Candidate Qualification Requirements
- At least 10 years of operational experience, including minimum 5 years in senior management or leadership positions.
- Proven experience in facility management and healthcare sectors with reputable local or international employers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA from an accredited university preferred.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
