Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to join our Online Hub team in Carole Park as a full-time Online Sales Assistant. This position provides valuable practical experience in the dynamic eCommerce and online sales environment.
Each day, new donated items—ranging from vintage apparel and collectibles to quirky electronics and distinctive jewellery—are prepared and listed for sale. You'll contribute to this lively and fast-moving setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft precise and appealing product descriptions and consistently achieve daily listing goals
- Upload product listings on online sales platforms with provided training
- Photograph and display products to highlight their best features
- Assist in dispatching items to ensure safe delivery to customers
- Receive, organize, and perform inventory counts as needed
- Identify valuable items to prioritize for online featuring
- Deliver customer support via phone and email correspondence
- Help internal teams with inquiries related to eCommerce processes
Candidate Profile
- Positive mindset and strong dedication to work
- Excellent written communication and careful attention to detail
- Curious and proactive approach to problem-solving using online resources
- Confidence in managing priorities and achieving targets
- Team-oriented, cooperative, and ready to assist colleagues
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and internet navigation
- Experience with eBay and product listing creation
- Interest in areas such as Antiques & Collectables, Electronics, Fashion, or Jewellery is desirable
