Primary Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and assemble customer orders from multiple temperature zones, ensuring timely delivery and quality preservation.
• Carefully pack orders, accurately distinguishing between similarly named products, quantities, and product codes.
• Ensure the selection of only high-quality products, avoiding damages and choosing the freshest options.
• Accurately document and label all orders by interpreting pick slips, packing details, and shipping labels.
• Maximize tote capacity by organizing packed items space-efficiently without compromising product quality.
• Balance order fulfillment duties with engaging customers professionally and resolving issues as needed.
• Strictly adhere to safety and food hygiene practices, maintaining cleanliness, promptly addressing spills, and ensuring totes are debris-free.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, completing all pre-use safety checks.
• Exemplify behaviors aligned with Walmart’s mission and core values.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts by proposing enhancements to procedures, productivity, customer satisfaction, safety, and work environment.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.15 per hour.
