About LiveBig and the Role
LiveBig is a dedicated Allied Health provider specializing in support for people with disabilities under the NDIS framework. We operate in community settings including homes and schools, delivering therapy and assessments. We are currently inviting applications for a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team based around Melbourne's northern suburbs, approximately 30km from the city center.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and individual goals.
- Develop evidence-based therapy plans rooted in best practices.
- Provide occupational therapy services in clients' homes, schools, and community environments.
- Prepare clear and detailed reports in compliance with NDIS standards.
- Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Organize and manage your caseload and schedule autonomously to balance flexibility and service quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold full registration with AHPRA; applicants with limited registration may also be considered.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle.
- Have or be willing to obtain Working With Children Check (WWCC), Police Check, and NDIS Worker Check.
- Experience working within the NDIS environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate a warm, client-centered approach with genuine enthusiasm for community-oriented work.
