Role overview
DAALLO Airlines is hiring a full-time, on-site Nurse in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This position supports the wellbeing of employees and, when necessary, passengers by delivering routine care, urgent first aid, and timely referral to additional medical support.
Key duties
The nurse will carry out health assessments, provide basic treatment, and assist with medical referrals. The role also includes maintaining medical records, supporting fitness-for-duty checks, and helping promote workplace health and safety across the operation.
In addition, the nurse will work closely with aviation and ground operations teams during medical incidents, follow airline and regulatory procedures, and contribute to health awareness and education activities. Managing medical supplies and equipment, while staying aligned with required health regulations, is also part of the job.
Qualifications and requirements
- A current nursing license or registration, along with a recognized nursing credential such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Prior experience in emergency, occupational, or general nursing; experience in aviation, travel, or transport environments is preferred.
- Solid skills in assessment, triage, and basic life support; advanced life support certification will be considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of occupational health practices, infection control, and proper documentation standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with people from varied cultural and language backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation, protect confidential information, and follow relevant regulatory guidance.
- Good organization and multitasking skills, including the ability to manage cases, monitor supplies, and respond quickly in urgent situations.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams and coordinating with operations, HR, and external healthcare providers.
- Availability to work on-site in Jeddah with shift flexibility to match airline operations.
- Arabic and/or English proficiency; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
