Overview
Join BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, as a Neighbourhood Administration Officer based in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This permanent full-time role offers $33.22 per hour plus 12% superannuation, access to not-for-profit salary packaging to increase take-home pay, and employee discounts. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and support to multiple neighbourhood teams.
- Serve as the first contact point for internal and external stakeholders via telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Handle inquiries, concerns, and requests effectively and efficiently.
- Assist with rostering and scheduling activities for the neighbourhood.
- Generate correspondence and documents as requested by the team.
- Arrange and manage appointments, calendars, travel plans, and meeting or workshop preparations.
- Oversee ordering and distribution of office supplies and coordinate maintenance or repairs of office equipment.
- Maintain accurate and consistent data within financial, human resources, and other internal BlueCare systems.
- Utilize mainstream software including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
- Support senior staff with special projects when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Experience in rostering and/or scheduling is highly valued.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with MS Office and database systems.
- Comfortable with smartphones and digital devices or a willingness to quickly learn these technologies.
