- Build and maintain solid vendor relationships by coordinating pricing updates, order changes, invoice dispute resolution, and contractual matters.
- Evaluate vendors by assessing their capabilities, financial health, and overall performance to support organizational procurement goals.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, internal controls, contracts, and ethical sourcing standards in all purchasing activities.
- Spot and suggest cost-reduction strategies that balance price, quality, service, and operational risk.
- Offer procurement guidance related to national, regional, and local contracts while keeping abreast of industry trends and new sourcing methodologies.
- Conduct onsite supplier or stakeholder visits as needed to support procurement initiatives and strengthen partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline; an MBA or higher qualification is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, finance, project management, or administration in a complex organizational setting; 3 or more years preferred.
- Proven background supporting procurement workflows, vendor management, sourcing, or purchasing operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic workplace.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal, coupled with a customer service approach and strong relationship-building talent.
- Capability to work independently, adapt swiftly to shifting priorities, and employ prudent professional judgment.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel for onsite supplier or stakeholder visits as necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive annual salary up to 60000 USD based on experience.
- Work from home: completely remote role.
- Extensive health coverage including medical, dental, prescription drugs, preventive care, telemedicine, and mental health support.
- 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
- Generous paid time off accruing from day one of employment.
- Financial aid programs such as tuition reimbursement, continuing education support, and student loan repayment assistance.
- Access to Employee Assistance Program and resources supporting work-life balance.
- Optional voluntary life and accident insurance plans.
- Opportunities for career progression via coaching, professional development programs, and educational resources.
