About the Role
Kia Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented National Parts Operations Manager who will play a key role in enhancing aftersales services within the dealer network. This position entails driving revenue growth in parts and accessories nationwide through strategic sales initiatives and campaigns. The role covers retail parts, accessories, tyres, and batteries, and involves close collaboration with internal teams to uncover and capitalize on fleet and retail business opportunities. The manager will also be instrumental in business planning and sales forecasting, utilizing data insights and marketing support to launch impactful campaigns and deepen dealer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement nationwide sales campaigns covering retail parts, accessories, tyres, and batteries aimed at boosting revenue.
- Lead the Parts and Accessories team, including direct oversight of the Trade Business Manager.
- Collaborate with Fleet divisions and key stakeholders to identify, develop, and monetize new business prospects.
- Work closely with Marketing to create and distribute compelling campaign materials, dealer communications, and promotional plans.
- Oversee the annual business planning cycle, including forecasting sales, aligning budgets, and setting performance objectives.
- Continuously monitor campaign outcomes, analyse data, and optimize for maximum return on investment.
- Initiate strategic actions to grow total parts and accessories sales and boost market share.
- Mentor and guide the Retail Parts Sales Specialist along with the broader team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience within automotive aftersales, parts/service management, or dealer operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of parts processes, warranty management, and logistics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills paired with a consultative mindset.
- Competency in data analysis with the ability to convert insights into actionable business plans.
- Self-driven, well-organized, and adept at managing responsibilities across multiple locations.
- Preferred tertiary qualifications in Business, Automotive studies, or related fields.
- Holder of a valid driver’s license with readiness for frequent travel.
Performance Indicators
- Achieve consistent year-over-year revenue growth in parts and accessories.
- Generate measurable uplift and positive return on investment from national campaigns.
- Boost dealer involvement and adoption rates of national initiatives.
- Maintain sales forecast accuracy within agreed tolerance levels.
- Drive new business development in fleet and retail sectors, reflected by volume, value, and growth metrics.
