Description de l'emploi
Opportunity
Pacific Talent Partners has been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit a National Business Development Manager for a fast-scaling division of a leading Australian manufacturer. This role sits at the heart of the business’s main growth focus as it reshapes its market approach and works toward ambitious multi-year expansion goals through major corporate partnerships.
Role Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, you will act as a strategic commercial partner, driving direct-sales activity across corporate opportunities. This is a senior ownership role where you will be responsible for delivering consistent revenue growth across a broad range of corporate customer segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and win new business across major corporate accounts, including supermarkets, international quick service restaurants, national petrol and convenience operators, and large fleet or retail groups.
- Partner with the General Manager to shape targets and deliver a premium go-to-market approach for corporate buyers and specifiers.
- Track competitor activity and major customer responses to inform longer-term strategy and support product development.
- Own the full sales cycle, ensuring disciplined CRM use, preparation of high-level quotations, and delivery of polished presentations to prospective clients.
Core Profile
The ideal candidate is a persistent commercial hunter who enjoys closing significant deals and takes a practical, solution-led approach to getting work completed from start to finish. You should bring at least 3 years of business development experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, freight, or industrial settings. You will either already have, or be able to quickly build, a strong network in the Tier 1 corporate market and know how to influence stakeholders at both executive and operational levels. Strong numerical judgment and analytical ability are important, along with confidence handling complex commercial negotiations and tracking sales performance.
Additional Information
Applications are invited directly and will be treated in strict confidence. Every submission will be acknowledged, and further role details can be shared during the application process. Candidates must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia. This search is being managed by Lachlan Kanaan.
