Overview
Adept Consulting Services, Inc. is hiring an experienced motion graphics designer for an urgent short-term contract assignment. The role is centered on creating a high-quality animated video for a client project that has a tight turnaround.
This is a project-based engagement expected to last about 6 to 8 weeks, with a preferred start date as soon as possible.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop a polished animated video from the first concept stage through final handoff.
- Build eye-catching motion graphics, digital illustrations, and 2D animation assets.
- Use Adobe After Effects to craft professional-level animation sequences.
- Handle video editing and combine motion graphics into a seamless final edit.
- Work with stakeholders to review feedback and apply revisions throughout the project.
- Track milestones and deliver work on schedule despite demanding deadlines.
Contract Details
This is an independent, project-based contract expected to run for roughly 6 to 8 weeks.
Remote work can be considered depending on the candidate’s background and fit for the project.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe After Effects.
- Prior professional experience producing motion graphics and animated video content.
- Solid video editing capability.
- Background in digital illustration and animation work.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and stay on top of deadlines with limited oversight.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of audio mixing and sound design.
- Experience producing animated explainer videos or similar marketing-style videos.
- Comfort using Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is mandatory. Candidates must share examples that demonstrate prior work in motion graphics, animated videos, After Effects-based projects, and work comparable in quality and style to professional explainer videos. Applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed.
