Overview
Some schools in New Zealand operate under a unique constitution which allows the Minister of Education to appoint members to their school boards. There is an opening for a Ministerial Appointee at Al-Madinah School located in Māngere, Auckland, beginning September 2026. This is a fixed-term appointment.

- Strong interest and understanding of financial management.
- Commitment to cultivating positive relationships with the school community and broader stakeholders.

This position is voluntary; Ministerial Appointees receive a standard honorarium of $50 per meeting.
