Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

Role Overview

An international M&A advisory firm is seeking an Associate to join its Frankfurt team and support deal execution within the European technology market.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, taking deals from initial sourcing through to completion.
• Construct detailed financial models, including valuation, accretion/dilution, and merger analysis, to inform deal structuring.
• Develop client-ready documents such as pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentation decks.
• Organize due diligence and manage transaction workflows while coordinating with clients, advisers, and counterparties.

What We’re Looking For

• Between 2 and 4 years of relevant M&A experience in investment banking, corporate development, or transaction advisory.
• Professional fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
• Strong capability in financial modelling, valuation, and analytical work, with a sharp eye for detail.
• A degree in finance, economics, business, or another related discipline, backed by strong academic performance.
