About Soho House Berlin
Soho House Berlin is an exclusive members-only club and hotel situated in a historic building at the heart of the city. Role Overview
The Membership Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, greeting them warmly, providing assistance, and managing administrative tasks. This multifaceted role involves staffing the reception desk, overseeing cloakroom duties, and handling guest lists. The key mission is to ensure every visitor enjoys an excellent experience with a hospitable atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members personally by name where possible and welcome guests warmly, embodying a friendly and hospitable attitude.
- Manage high-volume phone lines, handling reservations for restaurants, rooftop, and cinema, as well as general inquiries, deliveries, and messages.
- Be knowledgeable about menus, operating hours, and amenities to respond to routine questions confidently.
- Upkeep of a clean, safe, and organized environment at the reception, including desk and coat check areas.
- Carry out guest list tasks on-site including club and rooftop management where applicable.
- Address and resolve guest-related issues promptly, supporting staff and ensuring proper follow-up actions are taken.
- Assist guests with coat retrieval and items left behind efficiently and courteously.
- Cultivate strong relationships with members and guests, relaying concerns and positive feedback to management.
- Contribute to a lively, welcoming workplace by maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Perform additional supportive duties to contribute to smooth operation of the venue.
