About the Role

Bridges Health is seeking a Medical Records Assistant to join their team full-time in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for supporting medical records management and credentialing operations, ensuring accurate handling and quality assurance of records. The role involves collaboration with community facilities across the state and internal teams to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support electronic medical record uploads, conversions, and management initiatives.
• Travel to various facilities to aid medical records operations and project implementation.
• Guide facility staff on best practices for medical records processing.
• Manage overflow record uploads and related tasks.
• Conduct audits on medical record uploads and processes to uphold accuracy and compliance standards.
• Assist with credentialing processes including provider onboarding and maintenance of related documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive records, documentation, and track ongoing projects.
• Work with facility and internal staff to address issues and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Provide support for activities related to medical records and credentialing.
• Carry out additional duties and special projects as assigned.
