About the Role
Join The Doctors Phoenix as a Medical Receptionist and become the welcoming face of our busy General Practice located in Whakatane. This permanent part-time role involves working two days per week, Monday to Friday, with added flexibility to cover extra hours when needed. The position is based onsite at our medical centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact by greeting patients warmly and delivering exceptional customer service in person and via phone.
- Provide patients with necessary and accurate information.
- Schedule appointments efficiently and handle payment processing.
- Ensure precise management of our patient database.
- Manage various general administrative tasks as assigned.

- Proficiency with New Zealand Practice Management Systems is preferred along with strong computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient when under pressure.
