Mechanical Engineer - Operation and Maintenance

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in operation and maintenance (O&M) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in maintaining a range of mechanical equipment and a solid background in performance evaluation and maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operation and maintenance activities for mechanical equipment including various capacity HSC pumps, vertical turbine pumps, compressors, blowers, multiple valve types, and pipeline systems.
• Execute preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance tasks proficiently to ensure optimum equipment functionality.
• Lead manpower management and maintain effective client relationships to ensure satisfaction and smooth operations.
• Analyze mechanical equipment performance rigorously to identify improvements and potential issues.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining efficient system operations and employing effective communication methods.
• Coordinate with clients, headquarters, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve operational challenges.
• Utilize basic Microsoft Office skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for any equipment failures, driving effective corrective actions.
• Implement and monitor Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to streamline maintenance workflows and enhance reliability.

Candidate Eligibility and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
