Role Overview
The MDL Administrator will oversee the Master Deliverable Log, ensuring accurate tracking and management of all project deliverables. This role involves meticulous control to guarantee alignment with project timelines and contractual terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly update the Master Deliverable Log encompassing all project deliverables.
- Monitor stages of submission, review, approval, and revisions involving various stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and document control departments to ensure timely delivery of documents.
- Ensure deliverables comply with project schedules, milestones, and contractual obligations.
- Produce periodic reports detailing deliverable statuses, delays, outstanding items, and compliance issues.
- Maintain consistency in document numbering, metadata accuracy, status codes, and version control mechanisms.
- Detect overdue deliverables and raise risk alerts with the Project Management Office (PMO) and relevant reporting groups.
- Support ongoing project reporting and monitor performance related to deliverables.
- Liaise closely with planning, document control, and project management teams to streamline workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Bring 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in areas like document control, deliverable tracking, project coordination, or engineering/construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, SharePoint, ProjectWise, or equivalents.
- Advanced skills in Excel focusing on tracking, reporting, and data handling.
- Clear understanding of engineering deliverables and the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 for schedule interface or alignment would be beneficial.
