The organisation is hiring an MBBS Counsellor to help medical aspirants make well-informed choices about admissions and future career paths.
Job overview
In this position, you will advise students and their parents through the MBBS admission journey. Your role will involve explaining eligibility norms, entrance tests, college shortlisting, fee details, counselling rounds, documentation, and admission steps. The role suits someone who communicates clearly, works in a student-focused way, and can build confidence and trust with families.
Key responsibilities
- Offer end-to-end guidance to students and parents on MBBS admissions in India and overseas.
- Help applicants shortlist medical colleges based on their academic background, financial plan, and career objectives.
- Walk students through admission processes, eligibility criteria, counselling rounds, required documents, and fee structures.
- Manage incoming queries through phone, email, WhatsApp, and in-person discussions.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students and maintain strong engagement throughout the admission cycle.
- Assist with application forms and the preparation of supporting documents.
- Keep accurate records of leads, counselling interactions, and admission progress.
- Work with internal teams to ensure the admission process runs smoothly.
- Remain informed about updates in medical education, entrance exams, and admission regulations.
Required qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience in MBBS or medical admission counselling is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to persuade, counsel, and build lasting relationships.
- Capacity to understand student requirements and provide personalised advice.
- Good planning, organisation, and time-management abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Compensation and benefits
- Monthly salary between ₹30,000 and ₹50,000.
