About the Role
The Marketing Manager will lead and oversee the marketing division within the company, focusing on developing robust marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives and enhancing brand recognition locally and internationally. This role entails close collaboration with the sales team to devise pricing strategies that maximize profits and market share, as well as organizing major company events like conferences and trade shows alongside project management leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the overall marketing department and its activities across holding companies.
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies reflective of company goals.
- Set marketing objectives based on historical data and market forecasts.
- Evaluate existing offerings and initiate development of new products or services.
- Conduct thorough research of market trends, competition, demographics, and pricing to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to craft detailed plans for diverse media channels and sales support.
- Authorize and monitor creation of promotional content including ads, website materials, and other marketing collateral.
- Liaise with vendors such as media buyers, advertising agencies, and printers ensuring successful project execution.
- Act as the marketing department's representative during crucial client meetings.
- Manage the marketing budget, including forecasting, expenditures, and implementation.
- Analyze marketing and sales data to generate comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leaders and subsidiaries.
- Adjust marketing initiatives in response to feedback and data insights.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns alongside sales activities.
- Develop and supervise online and offline promotional campaigns.
- Oversee digital marketing including media campaigns, social media, CRM software, and website management.
- Manage creation and production of marketing collateral such as brochures and event catalogs.
- Fulfill marketing requirements for holding subsidiaries.
- Recruit, train, and develop marketing personnel.
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances within the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in the exhibition, conference, and event industry.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, CRM platforms, and similar software tools.
- In-depth understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and management skills.
- Must hold a valid Qatar driving license.
