The role offers a salary of £32,000 per year and is suited to an experienced marketing professional who enjoys taking ownership of campaigns, introducing fresh ideas, and working collaboratively across teams.
In this position, you will help shape and deliver the hospital’s marketing strategy, strengthening brand visibility and supporting engagement across different audiences. The environment is described as fast-moving, innovative, and focused on professional growth.
What you will do
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop a strong grasp of specialist topics and translate clinical as well as commercial priorities into practical marketing initiatives.
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns aimed at improving brand awareness and engagement, while providing regular KPI-based performance updates.
- Oversee the creation of marketing communications and promotional assets, ensuring all output follows brand standards and includes design, copywriting, and proofreading support.
Essential requirements
The hospital is looking for someone with significant prior experience in marketing, strong communication and written language skills, and the confidence to produce persuasive copy, review content carefully, and present ideas clearly. Applicants should also be comfortable with public speaking.

Experience with Google marketing tools such as Analytics, Tag Manager, Business, and Looker Studio is also expected, along with experience using a CMS such as WordPress.
A solid understanding of on-page SEO and experience tracking results, measuring success metrics, and interpreting performance data are essential. Academic minimum requirements include at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification.
Preferred background
While not mandatory, the hospital would welcome a degree in a relevant subject, previous marketing experience in healthcare, a strong creative portfolio, and experience writing engaging social media and blog content. Familiarity with social media trends, hashtags, engagement tactics, paid social and search channels, and advanced email marketing methods such as segmentation, list management, automation, consent handling, open and click tracking, and reporting would be an advantage.
