Role Overview

The Marketing Designer at Lazard Asset Management plays a pivotal role in defining the firm’s visual identity across all client interactions and channels. The position requires an experienced and creative individual to establish foundational design standards, create strategic roadmaps for brand expression, and collaborate across investment, sales, channel marketing, and broader marketing teams to deliver impactful work that supports commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality design work across the firm’s marketing materials, demonstrating expertise in typography, layout, hierarchy, and grid systems.
• Present complex, data-intensive information with elegance and sophistication in visual storytelling.
• Independently manage and deliver design projects from concept to completion with strong prioritization skills.
• Innovate by bringing fresh, industry-leading design ideas to maintain Lazard’s cutting-edge visual presence.
• Develop and improve brand guidelines and templates, ensuring consistency in colour, typography, grid layouts, and data visualization.
• Adopt a methodical approach to design, ensuring fast and accurate delivery—no project starts from scratch.
• Engage proactively with multiple departments, gathering input, resolving issues, and keeping projects on track.
• Actively participate in meetings and calls to capture important details and progress project goals.
• Create and provide digital assets, layout specifications, and guidance for web development teams.
• Manage and maintain PowerPoint presentations, ensuring all decks meet Lazard’s standards for clarity, design quality, and branding.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
• Strong ability to construct complex charts and data visualizations that clearly communicate information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across diverse teams and seniority levels.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and adapt schedules appropriately.
• Portfolio showcasing work with large-scale, high-profile, or reputable brands.
• Creative and solution-focused mindset for overcoming design challenges.
• Knowledge or experience with generative AI tools for image creation and editing is advantageous.
