Role summary
The Market Analyst position is a full-time role based in Accra with a hybrid setup that allows some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, you will study market data related to digital tools and SaaS products, spot trends, and turn findings into insights that shape pricing, product placement, and growth plans. You will also work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams, building reports and dashboards, assessing customer behavior, and helping the business evaluate opportunities and forecast demand. Your work will support clearer decision-making and stronger customer value.
Key duties
- Gather and review market information related to digital tools and SaaS offerings.
- Track market shifts, competitor activity, and customer patterns to identify meaningful trends.
- Convert raw data into practical recommendations that support business strategy.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and internal teams.
- Partner with marketing, product, and finance teams on pricing, positioning, and growth initiatives.
- Assess potential new opportunities and contribute to demand forecasting.
- Help refine go-to-market plans using data-backed insights.
- Present findings in a way that is easy for both technical and non-technical audiences to understand.
Qualifications and skills
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in market analysis and market research, along with the ability to interpret data and turn it into business recommendations. Strong analytical capability is needed, including confidence with spreadsheets, visualization tools, and quantitative methods. Good communication skills are important for explaining complex findings clearly. A basic understanding of finance, such as revenue models, pricing approaches, and forecasting, is also valuable. Experience in SaaS, digital products, or technology-led businesses is considered an advantage. The role suits someone who can manage time well, work independently, collaborate effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is expected, and familiarity with analytics or BI tools is helpful.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may also be accepted.
