Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the skipper and assist with all delegated tasks.
- Support activities assigned by the Marine Coordinator.
- Participate actively in all drills and emergency situations, performing assigned duties effectively.
- Report any unsafe behavior promptly to the skipper.
- Deliver personalized service to all guests, adhering to hotel standards and fostering strong guest relationships from their arrival.
- Warmly welcome all guests and address complaints professionally, escalating serious issues to supervisors or managers as necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of all hotel facilities, operating hours, and promote internal events and activities.
- Stay informed about operational updates and participate in daily briefings with the front office team.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining high morale and good working relationships.
- Arrive punctually for duty wearing proper uniform and name tag, maintaining a high standard of personal and departmental appearance.
- Assist guests during arrival and departure, providing necessary support.
- Ensure safety and promotional videos are presented at the start of each trip or personally demonstrate safety instructions when videos are unavailable.
- Make announcements at the beginning and end of every trip to keep guests informed.
- Coordinate with the team to facilitate smooth guest transfers.
- Complete daily checklists, ensuring vessels are clean and tidy, with amenities such as flowers, water, dates, and magazines arranged.
- Participate in STCW courses or other local or company-mandated training programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or diploma equivalent.
- Excellent proficiency in English communication.
- Strong customer service orientation and keen attention to detail.
- Hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
