Manager, Training

Position Overview

This role manages the entire training lifecycle for designated programs, concentrating on enhancing onsite team performance. The primary goals include ensuring thorough product understanding, mastery of the sales process, compliance with operational standards, and delivering superior customer experiences consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operational leadership to identify and prioritize critical training needs by conducting skill gap analyses for sales and operations teams.
• Create comprehensive training programs following instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including Fair Housing laws.
• Lead dynamic training sessions, including "train-the-trainer" courses, and provide coaching to subject matter experts, property leaders, and Training Specialists on effective facilitation methods.
• Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend improvements to foster continuous learning and ensure practical application and sustainability in daily roles.
• Use both leading metrics (training engagement and satisfaction) and lagging metrics (Key Performance Indicators and resident feedback) to measure program success.
• Oversee the selection and maintenance of content libraries to uphold quality standards.
• Manage projects related to training development and delivery with strong organizational skills.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities suited for diverse audiences.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a training leadership or supervisory position.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).
• Possession of a valid California driver's license and maintenance of continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law; frequent driving is an essential function of this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $93,000 to $115,000 annually, dependent on experience, tenure, prior performance, business unit, and location.
