Role Summary

The Maintenance Technician position involves supporting production and maintenance tasks to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and equipment functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineering staff with daily operational duties in the factory setting.
• Provide necessary support for manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure products adhere to timetable and customer quality criteria.
• Uphold company policies, safety protocols, and safe working practices at all times.
• Train and mentor new employees as required.
• Execute preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems with emphasis on air-conditioning and cooling apparatus.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in organized, proper storage conditions and good working order.
• Assist maintenance and manufacturing functions to facilitate seamless production flow.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Possession of at least NITEC or Higher NITEC certification in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrates a positive mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Highly meticulous, well-organized, and attentive to detail.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Eager to learn and adaptable to new challenges.
• Prior experience in maintenance and repair of air-conditioning and/or cooling systems is preferred.
• Experience working in the Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication industry is considered advantageous.

Additional Information

• Applicants without prior experience are encouraged to apply as on-the-job training will be provided.
• The position requires manual handling of parts weighing up to 15 kilograms.
• Tasks involve working with chemicals; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied.
