Role Overview
We are looking for a graphic designer to produce bespoke magazine-style covers for a digital magazine brand. The role focuses on turning customer photos into polished, professional-looking cover designs that feel like collectible magazine issues.
The work spans a range of themes such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, business milestones, gaming, sports, fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment. Designs should look realistic, visually appealing, and ready for digital or print use.
Key Responsibilities
- Build custom magazine cover concepts using customer-provided images.
- Retouch, refine, and improve submitted photos for use in final designs.
- Create believable magazine layouts, including headlines, cover lines, and story elements.
- Adapt artwork across different topic areas such as fashion, gaming, sports, business, and lifestyle.
- Prepare high-quality digital files that are suitable for print or online delivery.
- Keep branding consistent and ensure the final presentation remains professional.
Skills and Experience Required
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva Pro, Affinity Designer, or equivalent design software.
- Strong ability in image editing, enhancement, and photo retouching.
- A good sense of typography and magazine-style composition.
- Comfort working independently and delivering within deadlines.
- A design portfolio is preferred, especially one that shows relevant creative work.
Additional or Preferred Skills
- Prior exposure to magazine cover design.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted image generation.
- Experience creating graphics for social media.
- Knowledge of both print and digital publishing workflows.
