Role overview

Fraserway RV is looking to hire a dependable and driven Lot Attendant for its Halifax dealership in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As Canada’s largest fully integrated RV company, Fraserway RV operates across sales, service, and rentals, helping customers turn their vacation plans into reality. This is a regular full-time position based onsite.

What you will do

  • Operate a forklift and/or tow vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Move motorhomes, trailers, and campers while keeping the lot neat and orderly.
  • Support a safe and efficient lot environment for the Sales team.
  • Confirm that slides, jacks, and compartment doors are secured before relocating any unit.
  • Help manage the movement of RVs entering and leaving the service area.
  • Stage and arrange RVs in service bays and in the service lot.
  • Keep the lot clear of dirt, debris, and mud.
  • Make sure customer parking spaces remain available at all times.
  • Transport units to external repair locations when needed.
  • Pick up and return customer units within the local region.
  • Escalate exterior building concerns to the General Manager.
  • Immediately document and report lot damage, including the stock number and photos.
  • Promptly report maintenance issues or defects found on units.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.

What you need

  • High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • A copy of the driver’s abstract must be included with the resume.
  • Current forklift operator certification with hands-on experience.
  • Dependable transportation to and from work.

  • Availability to work evenings until 5:00 pm and Saturdays as scheduled.
