Role Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to effectively manage the entire U.S. import process and supervise third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse functions, ensuring seamless movement of goods and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the U.S. import lifecycle including Customs and Border Protection (CBP) clearance, adherence to HS code classifications, and strategies for optimizing duties.
- Supervise 3PL warehouse operations to maintain efficiency and order accuracy.
- Address and resolve issues such as port delays, cargo detentions, and customs disputes promptly.
- Negotiate favorable Free Trade Agreement (FTA) duty benefits and terms for Free On Board (FOB) and Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) with transportation carriers.
- Collaborate closely with Sales teams to synchronize order schedules and communication tactics, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational fluidity.
- Manage various priorities including responding to customer inquiries, processing order modifications, handling product returns, and resolving shortages.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years or more of proven experience in logistics, with a focus on U.S. import processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP and PivotTables, and hands-on experience with ERP software such as SAP or Oracle.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese are mandatory for handling international logistics communications.
