Job Overview and Key Duties
Join R.K. Transport Co. as a Logistics Manager based in Ludhiana, Punjab. This role involves managing daily communications and coordination with truck drivers to ensure smooth operations, overseeing vehicle unloading in collaboration with the sales team, and planning truck deployments thoughtfully.
Responsibilities
- Liaise daily with company truck drivers and monitor their activities.
- Coordinate unloading processes on time with sales personnel.
- Engage with customers to manage delivery timelines and vehicle arrangements.
- Strategically assign trucks to optimize resource use.
- Keep detailed and honest records of driver expenses.
Requirements
- Fluent Punjabi speaker.
- Ability to maintain clear handwriting and accurate records.
- Knowledge of the towns, transportation routes, and major hubs within Punjab.
- Strong communication and team coordination capabilities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Reliable, diligent, and responsible work ethic.
- Experience in coordinating with truck drivers is highly advantageous.
Additional Information
The role offers a monthly salary in the range of ₹15,000 to ₹20,000. Candidates who are punctual and have a sense of integrity in record-keeping would be ideal.
